Controversial realignment would split SJAA and traditional rivals

The traditional high school rivalry between Lodi and Tokay appears destined for a change that could threaten the biggest draw for both programs.

The longtime members of the San Joaquin Athletic Association could see their cross-town showdowns as well as other league rivalries reduced to preseason contests under a planned realignment that would split the SJAA into two separate leagues next year.
