With the ball secured tightly to his chest, Jordan Perkins plants one foot. Almost instantaneously, he cuts the other way. His legs weightlessly glide with an extra bounce like the ground is propelling him forward.

The Lodi High running back's vision is like a hole-seeking radar. His tall frame allows him to squeeze through tight gaps.

I am sure this woman is a good writer, but if you think Lodi is going to throw more than they did last year she is out of her mind. They barely threw last year and they are planning to throw less this year. Maybe she should go out and watch practice some time and she would figure that out.

Lets not forget about Santiago who may just be the best player on that team right now.

"if everything works out for him..." Don't leave it up to chance. The coaches should not wait for scouts to come watch. Real life is not "Friday Night Lights" so the coaches need to be proactive and contact the colleges Jordan is interested in attending. This is how kids get scholarships and into 4 year colleges.

The kid is special. I hope every game at the grape bowl is sold out this year to see him. This is a talent that does not come arround very often. If everything works out well for him, you should be watching him on Saturday's for 4 years and possibly on Sunday's in the future. The next two years are going to be very exciting for the Flames! Don't miss it.
