The annual Ty Caplin Memorial boys high school golf tournament survived harsh weather conditions and a venue change and teed off in its 19th installment on Monday at Woodbridge Country Club.

The event, hosted by Tokay High, has previously been held at Elkhorn Country Club, but Elkhorn was forced to close down in February because of the hard economic times. Woodbridge stepped up to host the event, and despite rainy and windy spring conditions, 15 of the original 16 teams scheduled to play in the tournament still made it.
