Lodi Flames seniors return home, bid fitting farewell

As the clock ticked down on the Lodi High football team's 48-16 win over McNair in the quarterfinals of the Sac-Joaquin Division I section playoffs at the newly renovated Grape Bowl on Thursday night, Flames center Jonathan Carlson was grinning from ear to ear.

"Getting to play at the Grape Bowl for the last time as a senior, especially in a playoff game, was the greatest thing that ever happened to me," Carlson said. "I absolutely loved it. This is a game that I will remember forever."
