The St. Mary’s Rams came with the pressure on Friday night. Using a smothering, mistaking-making press, the St. Mary’s boys basketball team jumped out to a 24-4 lead at halftime against the Tokay Tigers and came away with a 40-27 victory at The Jungle.
“St. Mary’s is well coached and disciplined with solid defense and team offense,” said Tokay head coach Steven Kayson. “They do a nice job in forcing opponents into bad shots and turnovers.”
