After starting program and leading it for nine years, Dean Davis finally calling it quits

Elliot Eagles football has been a family business for Dean Davis. Now, the coach who helped start the Eagles’ program nine years ago at Elliot Christian High School in Lodi has moved on to another Davis-run venture.

In mid-February, Davis opened up a new Squeeze Inn burger chain in Tracy, which he runs with his wife Jane, and sons Jon and Matt. That new commitment has meant stepping down from the team he built.
