Onward they go. The Lodi Flames girls golf team shot, drove and putted its way to a second-place finish at Monday’s Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Girls Golf Tournament, earning one of three team berths to next Monday’s NorCal Championships at Stanford Golf Course.

Playing at a par-72 course at The Reserve at Spanos Park, Lodi shot a combined score of 401, two strokes behind first-place Christian Brothers (399). St. Francis, which saw its streak of five straight Masters crowns snapped, finished in third place with a 415 and was the final team in the field to advance to the NorCal tourney.
