Cross country: Hawks compete at Sierra Valley Conference meet

The Liberty Ranch Hawks cross country teams competed in the Sierra Valley Conference meet at Rancho Seco on Tuesday, with the freshman-sophomore and varsity boys teams both finishing in fifth place overall and the varsity girls team taking fourth (out of seven schools).

Breaking school records for the course were Derek Miller in the freshman-sophomore boys two-mile race (12:33), Kacey Hintze in the freshman-sophomore girls two-mile race (15:17) and Alyssa Ayala in the varsity girls 3.2-mile race (20:48).
