Runners conquer Southern California hills

Racing on one the toughest courses in the West, each member of the Lodi High girls cross country team posted a personal best time on a three-mile course to lead the Flames to a third-place finish at the Mount San Antonio College Invitational on Saturday in Walnut.

Big hills and a crowded field didn't slow down the Flames on the tough terrain outside of Los Angeles. Cassidy Daley led Lodi with a time of 17 minutes flat, good enough for fifth overall.
