Been there, done that: Lodi High School’s Cassidy Daley ready for state track and field championships

Who: Lodi High sophomore Cassidy Daley will be
running in the 3,200-meter run. Tokay High sophomore Jannell Hadnot
will be competing in the long jump.
When: The triple jump trials begin today at 3
p.m. The finals for the top nine jumpers will advance to the finals
which begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The 3,200-meter run will be held
on Saturday at 8:46 p.m.
Where: Buchanan High School's Veteran's
Memorial Stadium in Clovis.
Admission: Friday — $10 for adults and $7 for
children, seniors and students with high school IDs. Saturday — $12
for adults and $8 for children, seniors and students with high

Cassidy Daley's been here before. The Lodi High School sophomore
distance-running machine knows the feeling of running under the
lights surrounded by a stadium packed with cheering spectators.
After qualifying for the CIF State Track and Field Championships
in the 3,200-meter run last year as a freshman, Daley is headed
back to the state meet in Clovis this weekend to take on the fierce
3,200 field again.
