The Tigers had a fast start. The Titans had a furious finish. Tokay High School’s varsity boys basketball team watched a big early lead slip away as Chavez rallied for a 49-46 victory in the championship game of the Delta King Classic on Saturday in Stockton.

The Tigers (2-1) jumped out to a 14-2 lead, but the Titans responded with a 21-3 prior to halftime and led 30-26 at the break.
