The Lodi Baseball Academy 13-and-under baseball team won the September to Remember Tournament last weekend at Billy Hebert Field in Stockton. Lodi opened with a 16-5 victory over the San Ramon Blue Demons. Derek Clouse got the win and Trent Luiz earned the save.

After losing its second game, 16-12, to the Morgan Hill Thunder, Lodi bounced back with two victories to reach the championship game. Levi Alvarez led Lodi to a 5-4 victory over the Ukiah Crushers with a strong performance on the mound and the game-winning hit. Lodi defeated the ASA Rebels from Santa Clara 11-9 with a combined effort from its pitchers Bobby Yabumoto and Chris Bartholomei.
