Tokay High's girls golf team came up just short in its bid for a first league championship, losing out to St. Mary's by only two shots on Tuesday at the Tri-City Athletic League Tournament at Van Buskirk Golf Course in Stockton.

The Tigers and Rams split their regular-season matches and came into the tournament tied for the league lead.
