The Stockton Thunder ripped off three unanswered goals in the second period, enough to hold off the Idaho Steelheads in a 3-2 victory before a sellout crowd of 8,919 at Stockton Arena on Saturday.

With the team's seven-game home stand concluded, the Thunder (24-17-5-3, 56 points) will move on to a date with the Bakersfield Condors today at Rabobank Arena at 7 p.m.
