Ally Drake and Jessica Malcolm played vital roles in the Lodi High volleyball team's success this season. Drake, a senior defensive specialist, was the core of the Flame defense and Malcolm, a junior outside hitter, was the catalyst on offense.
Both were recently honored by the San Joaquin Athletic Association as Drake was named the SJAA Defensive Player of the Year and Malcolm was honored as the SJAA Hitter of the Year. Seven Flames where recognized by the league for their efforts this season, which helped the Flames take second place in the SJAA standings and qualify for the Division I Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs.
