Tokay 62, Edison 54 Boys basketball: Yonic Flores has hot hand as Tigers continue turnaround

Yonic Flores could not be stopped. The point guard for the Tokay Tigers varsity boys basketball team hit seven 3-pointers and scored 19 of his game-high 27 points in the second half to lead the Tigers to a 62-54 league victory over the Edison Vikings on Wednesday night in The Jungle at Tokay High School.

Flores caught fire in the second half, hitting three treys in the third quarter and two in the fourth.
