The McClatchy High girls basketball team earned a reputation this season for having strong 3-point shooters.

So when Lodi took that option away with aggressive perimeter defense in the quarterfinals of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoffs, McClatchy coach Harvey Tahara directed his team to go inside despite a sizable height disadvantage.
