Lodi native overcomes injury to keep promise to her father

When Julie Lithco Ellis was 16, she told her father there were three things she hoped to do before she died: skydive, compete in the Ironman Triathlon and run the Boston Marathon.

The Lodi native went skydiving at age 20, and on Monday, 22 years after making that promise to her father, she will run in the Boston Marathon.
