One thing is for sure: the Lodi Flames varsity girls soccer team doesn’t panic when falling behind. Down 2-0 midway through the first half in their league final at Lincoln, the resilient Flames battled back, scoring four unanswered goals — getting dominant play up top from Kayla Bender and Jessica Raybe in pulling out a 4-2 victory at Alex G. Spanos Field on Thursday night.
The road victory helped Lodi clinch second in the San Joaquin Athletic Association, behind league champ Tracy.
