Lodi and Tokay held their annual water polo matches for city bragging rights under the lights on Wednesday night. At the end of the night, however, it was the Flames that stole the spotlight.

Lodi swept both varsity matches, winning the girls contest 8-4 and the boys match 13-11 in a thrilling nightcap in front of an estimated 500 spectators at the Tokay pool.

Thanks to all who had a role in making last night happen. It was great to see that many supporters (family, friends) for both programs on deck at Tokay. Tokay Boosters did a great job promoting the event, bringing in the lights, flyers, etc. Special thanks to all Coaches at all levels for providing exciting and competitive games at all levels and thanks to all players who competed with sportsmanship and respect for each other. Good luck to all programs the remainder of the season. I am glad I was there!
