An 11-turnover third quarter ultimately spelled doom for the Tokay Tigers varsity boys basketball team in a 53-37 loss to the Bear Creek Bruins on Friday night at Tokay High School.

Nico Brusa led the Tigers (5-8) with a team-high 12 points but no other Tokay player reached double figures in the loss to the Bruins (11-4), who also received 12 points from forward Jadon Henry to tie Brusa for game-high scoring honors.
