Grayson Dillon threw touchdown passes of 30, 13 and 8 yards to TJ Gotelli in the loss at Sheldon.
Dillon finished with 160 yards through the air.
Vincent Cecchetti added an 8-yard TD run for Lodi and Jacob Coons kicked three PATs. Matt Meehleis hauled in a two-point conversion.
Anthony Jory rushed for 105 yard and Jacob Coons added 75.
Cecchetti, Tyler Sefried, Brant Espedal and Daniel Anaforian and solid games on defense.

The line between a nail-biter and a rout can be ever-so fine. For the second straight season opener, the Lodi Flames gave the Sheldon Huskies all they could handle. And again, the Flames could not keep up after stumbling late.
The host Huskies turned a dogfight into a 48-26 blowout on Friday night, flashing a potent spread offense and taking advantage of two critical second-half turnovers by Lodi to pull away.
