Lodi High football star Jordan Perkins suffered a fractured left collarbone in a preseason scrimmage over the weekend and could miss at least the first month of the season.

The injury occurred on a play against Weston Ranch and the senior running back said he did not realize he had a severe injury until the scrimmage was over. He said his injury happened when he was pushed out of bounds on a grass field.

This is really upsetting to hear about Jordan Perkins; we hope for a speeding recovery. There are many talented players out there on the Lodi High Varsity team. They all work well together. Hoping for a great football season this year! Also hoping that you'll spell my son Josh Mastro's name correctly in the future; HaHa Go Flames!!
