Josh Mastro called Friday’s deciding sequence “tough luck.” Lodi head coach Todd Dillon did one better, terming it “cataclysmic.” Whatever the description, a pair of plays and 17 seconds helped turn a two-point contest into an eventual 36-13 season-opening rout at the hands of visiting Sheldon.  

After letting the Huskies march up and down the Grape Bowl all night, suddenly everything was coming up Flames.
