Lodi Swim Club hosts Mel Enze Memorial meet

The Lodi City Swim Club hosted the 24th annual Mel Enze Memorial meet over the weekend of June 22-24, welcoming 405 swimmers from around the area to Tokay High's long-course pool. Thirty-six swimmers from Lodi participated.

Miranda Padilla won five events during the meet in the 11-12 Girls division: the 200m breaststroke (2:45.08), 100m butterfly (1:14.66), 100m freestyle (1:07.98), 200m butterfly (2:40.28) and 100m backstroke (1:19.52). Keean Brophy took four events in the 9-10 Boys group: the 50m back (50.15), 50m breast (53.66), 50m free (40.91) and 200m free (3:21.54).
