The Galt Warriors had their mohawks ready to go, but their bats
weren’t quite up to speed.
East Union Lancers sophomore pitcher Jordan Kron, his cheeks
covered in smeared eye black like war paint, hurled a complete-game
shutout with 11 strikeouts to lift the Lancers over the Warriors in
the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV baseball
playoffs at Zupo Field in Lodi on Thursday night.
