In an meet where a 300-point margin of victory is considered close, this past weekend’s Lodi Summer Swim Championships proved to be a downright nailbiter. After two days of intense competition, the Seals prevailed to take their second championship in three years, finishing with 2,810.5 points and just edging the Tritons (2,759) by 51.5.
“It was very competitive, very even,” Seals coach Robert Elrod said. “A couple of kids, a couple of places here and there can make the difference.”
