In a pivotal battle for league positioning, the Tokay Tigers varsity volleyball team showed both versatility and resilience. The Tigers grabbed sole possession of second place in the Tri-City Athletic League on Tuesday, gutting out back-to-back nailbiting sets to turn a tied match with the West Wolf Pack into a 25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 25-23 home victory.

“They have composure. They have amazing composure,” said Tokay coach Pamela Buzo after sweeping the season series. “They really responded well in a stressful situation.”
