Clark Hunter was joking around, but his comment spoke volumes. Fresh off of a 7-0 drubbing of the Stagg Delta Kings at Zupo Field, the Tokay Tigers’ second straight league victory, their junior second baseman wanted everyone around to know Friday afternoon’s biggest standout.

“Will Lydon was magical!” Hunter boasted out loud — a perfect description of Tokay’s 6-foot-2 right-hander, who had just dealt out 10 strikeouts in a complete-game gem against the Delta Kings.
