It’s been nearly 12 years since upcoming motorcycle racing sensation Toby Jorgensen tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident at age 17. Jorgensen, a seven-time amateur national champion who also won the 100cc national title four times, was just beginning his professional career before he was robbed of the chance to pursue it.
The local motorcycle community will be riding to honor the driven, humble former Linden rider on Saturday night as the Lodi Motorcycle Club hosts the 13th Annual Toby Jorgensen Memorial Short Track race at the Lodi Cycle Bowl.
