Jeremy Shuman broke a 3-3 tie with a bases-loaded double in the top of the seventh inning to back the three-hit pitching of Grant Hennecke as Lodi knocked off Tokay, 7-4, in non-league baseball action on Friday at Zupo Field.

Shuman’s clutch hit down the right-field line with two strikes on him came off of Tigers’ reliever John Knerl and plated Joey Armstrong, Brett Young and Louie Conti to give the Flames a 6-3 lead. Lodi tacked on another run later in the frame when Shuman scored on Austin Moreno’s RBI single.
