All-Sierra Valley Conference basketball teams Galt Warriors don’t lack depth in league honors for girls basketball

The 2010-11 season was one of the best in the Galt High girls basketball program’s history. The Warriors went 22-8, earned the No. 9 seed in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III playoffs and advanced to the quarterfinals before being knocked out by eventual champion and perennial powerhouse Sacramento High.

And Galt did it with only eight players, a number that got cut down to seven when starting center Kaylanie Lavender was sidelined with an injury with a month remaining in the regular season.
