Tokay Tigers football team driven by competition

With season opener approaching, starting spots up for grabs

Last season was one of the finest years offensively for the Tokay High School football program under the tutelage of fifth-year head coach Louis Franklin.

But 18 starters have graduated, most notably quarterback Zac McCurdy, who rushed for 1,169 yards and passed for 1.736 more while having a hand in 26 of his team’s 43 touchdowns last year.
