After two consecutive sub-par seasons, Galt High head football coach Rich Maberto and his band of Warriors have a chip on their collective shoulders entering Friday's 7:30 p.m. matchup on the road against Hughson.
Maberto is in his third season at Galt after going 5-5 and 4-6 in his first two years at the helm. When last season ended, Maberto's hold on his job seemed in jeopardy but after much discussion, the school decided to give him at least one more year to turn the program around.
