Liberty Ranch running back Willie Holman capped a furious fourth-quarter rally with a pair of late touchdown runs to lead the Hawks past the Gregori Jaguars, 40-28, in non-league football action on Thursday night at Erv Hatzenbuhler Field in Galt.

Holman, who finished with 165 yards and three touchdowns, watched as Liberty Ranch (2-2) jumped out to a 26-7 halftime led only to find itself down, 28-26, with 7:43 remaining in the fourth quarter. Gregori (3-1) came out after halftime and scored on three straight possessions as fullback Alex Labanon had scoring runs of 29, 5, and 11 yards to give the Jaguars a four-point lead midway through the final stanza.
