After slow start, Watt leads Tokay surge to victory

A half hour or so after host Tokay finished its San Joaquin Athletic Association water polo match with Lodi, the Tigers' Breanna Deemer and Emily Woo were sitting at the Ed Seiferling pool scorer's table, working the scoreboard for the varsity boys match and talking about the Flames.

"Lodi is a good water polo team, but there is just a special feeling when you beat your cross-town rivals. It is so awesome," Deemer said. "But we don't rub Lodi's noses in it, we respect them. A lot of their players are friends of ours. We aren't cocky about it."
