After his team’s 55-point loss to Sheldon a week ago, Lodi Flames varsity football coach Robert Sperling vowed, “Come back next week, and you’ll see a different football team.” The Flames responded.

Lodi broke open a tight game with five fourth-quarter touchdowns en route to a 46-16 win over the McNair Eagles in non-league football action Friday night at McNair High School in Stockton to earn its first win of the season.
