Jordan Perkins is headed in another direction. Instead of the Pac 10, the Lodi High star running back is Big 10 bound. After verbally committing to Stanford before the start of his senior season, Perkins has changed his path and verbally committed to Northwestern on Saturday.

The Stanford admissions department kept delaying Perkins' admission to the school, despite his 3.9 GPA. With national signing rapidly approaching on Feb. 2, Perkins didn't want to wait any more. So he switched to Northwestern, making his decision during his official visit to the school which had already admitted him.

Congratulations Jordan. But we will miss seeing you on TV as Northwestern is not on TV alot out here. Hopefully the Big10 network will show some of your games. We are all pulling for you to have a great college carreer.

Now - what are you going to do with all those Stanford sweatshirts?
