Tokay’s girls, boys earn Top-10 finishes in track and field

Paced by five individual titles, the Tokay High School track and field team’s varsity girls took fifth place at Saturday’s Port City Invitational. The competition in Bear Creek featured 20 schools, with over 900 athletes total.

Jannell Hadnot was the best of the bunch for the Tigers, taking the gold in the high jump (5-2.0), the long jump (17-8.5) and also capturing the 100m dash in 13.15 seconds.  Haley Kroll won the 800m in 2:21.52 and  Katiana Paresis was fourth in the discus with a throw of 90-06.5.
