One weekend. Hundreds of swimmers, of all ages. Two new records. And, in the end, one breakthrough team winner. It was an eventful Lodi Summer League Championship, indeed.
In a meet that was extremely competitive throughout, the Piranhas ultimately prevailed at Tokay High School, earning their first-ever meet victory in 13 years. The team racked up 2,812 points on the strength of 20 combined titles — 12 of which were individual first-place finishes, including three multiple winners. The Seals Swim Team finished right behind with 2,598 points, followed by the Tritons (2,385) and Dolphins (1,993).
