There was no sophomore slump for Bradi Kooyman. The Elliot Eagles varsity softball slugger, who followed up her fabulous freshman campaign with a scintillating sophomore season, was recently named the Central California Athletic Alliance MVP.
While the Eagles were rebuilding in 2014, Kooyman simply reloaded, blasting opposing pitching to the tune of a team-high .721 batting average. She also led the team in home runs (5), doubles (13), RBIs (37) and runs scored (29).
