The rains finally stopped and Tony Zupo Field played host to the Lodi Glory’s 2011 home opener under clear skies on Friday night.

After their first three scheduled home openers were called off because of weather, the Glory were finally able to play but suffered a 7-3 loss to the Nevada Bullets in Far West League action. After Nevada went up 7-2 on a four-run eighth inning, the Glory threatened in the bottom of the ninth by scoring one run but left the bases loaded to end the game.
