Whether you call it serendipity or fate, Jaysen Corbett finds himself playing for the No. 1 college football team in the country.

He could be playing for Fresno State, where he was offered the opportunity to walk-on after graduating from Galt High School. He would have gone to Cal, his top college choice, had the Bears only needed a linebacker. He could even be donning a winged helmet at Michigan, which offered him a scholarship while he was playing his junior college ball at Sacramento City College.

I could not agree more with Tarren and Brian. Being a major part in Jaysen's life, I have been there with him through the ups and the downs. It has not been easy, but he has overcome obstacles and begun to achieve his most desired dreams. He is a stellar athlete, a superior student, a loving son, a caring brother and a wonderful boyfriend. I know that his family and friends could not be more proud of #47!

Could not have happened to a nicer young man. Jaysen was always one of the hardest working and most respectful young men in class. Mom and Dad should be proud of him but also proud of themselves. Congrats!

Jaysen has really come a long way and worked hard to get where he is today. I just wanted to remind everyone that to play the sport you have to keep up the grades in school as well. Jaysen has done a great job doing both and his family is very proud!!!!
