How well can David Foletta’s Lodi Extreme softball club swing the bat? One day at Salas Park, a junior football team had to move their practice in the outfield shade to avoid all the incoming fly balls.

“The girls hit the ball so hard. We really want to make other team field the ball,” said Foletta, whose under-16 team is one of two local teams traveling to the upcoming Babe Ruth World Series this month.
