Five innings of a pitching duel at Zupo Field got out of hand quickly Tuesday. The Lodi Flames hosted the Tracy Bulldogs and threw their top pitcher, Eric Chen, against the Bulldogs’ No. 1 Anthony Nunez. The right-handers were solid through five innings with the score knotted at three before Tracy’s bats came to life. Tracy scored nine runs in the final two innings and won 12-6.

Chen exited after giving up seven runs on 11 hits and was spelled by Bailey Hughes, who was tagged for three earned runs.
