The Lodi Flames varsity baseball team blew a late four-run lead but recovered for an 8-4 victory over the Bear Creek Bruins on Thursday in Stockton.

With Connor Daley cruising on the mound, the Flames (2-0 San Joaquin Athletic Association) took a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning. However, the Bruins pieced together a rally with some timely hits and took advantage of Lodi errors to tie the game at 4-all.
