The flag will drop this weekend — and for the remainder of the season — at Stockton 99 Speedway. The future of the track was uncertain on Wednesday, lost in a legal morass. It was unclear if the speedway’s next event this Saturday would continue as scheduled, and if so, who would run the races.

However, following a court meeting on Thursday, it was determined that the season will proceed under the direction of former speedway owner/operator Ken Clapp, according to the track’s website.
