Boys basketball: Tigers use big third quarter to roll past Delta Kings

Most memorable shot: During a JV tournament game against Chavez, McAfee hit a tying 3-pointer near the end of regulation with a defender draped all over him.
Worst sports moment: During a summer league game, McAfee got a wide-open look for a potential winning shot but ended up hitting the backboard.
"And nothing else," he sad. "It was pretty embarrassing."
Other sport you'd like to play: Football. McAfee used to play when he was younger, but stopped to focus on basketball.

A big fan of the movie "I Am Legend," Josh McAfee of the Tokay Tigers varsity boys basketball team vaulted himself into legendary territory with the performance of a lifetime on Friday.
In one of the Tigers' biggest wins of the year, a 75-62 overtime home victory over the McNair Eagles that evened their league record, McAfee put on a 3-point shooting display that will live in program lore.
