Dillon optimistic Flames ready for breakout year

The last time the Lodi High football team had a .500 record was 1998, the year Todd Dillon took over as the team's head coach. The last time Lodi had a winning record was 1992 when Dillon was still playing quarterback for the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Canadian Football League.

Dillon believes this will finally be the season his team breaks through on the plus-side, if for no other reason than that his players believe they will.
