Despite record-setting performances from wide receiver Ryan Rogero and sophomore quarterback Kelse Depauli-Wiltse in last week’s 49-7 loss to West in the Tri-City Athletic League opener for both teams, Tokay High coach Louis Franklin knew what really went wrong.

“West beat us up physically and took us out of our game,” Franklin said. “We lost four starters on the first drive of the game and never recovered.”
